About Plateau
A small firm in the Texas Hill Country that owns domains, sells them carefully, and helps companies look after the ones they have.
The firm
Plateau Digital Assets is the domain business of Plateau Products, based in Dripping Springs, outside Austin. We own the domains we sell. We do not run an auction marketplace, and we do not list names on behalf of anonymous third parties.
The portfolio is small by design. Each name was acquired because a specific kind of business would be better off holding it, and each is sold to that kind of business, on written terms, through licensed escrow.
The same discipline runs through the advisory work. A buyer we represent is represented anonymously. A domain we take into custody is locked and documented. A review we write says what we found, not what sells.
How we work
Four commitments that apply to every buyer, every seller, and every client we represent.
Confidentiality first
We sign a mutual NDA before discussing a mandate, an offer, or the identity of anyone involved. Ours is on the Documents page; yours is equally welcome.
No funds pass through us
Every sale settles through a licensed escrow agent. Plateau does not hold buyer money at any point, and release happens only on the buyer's instruction.
Clear title, in writing
Every domain we sell comes with a signed purchase agreement warranting that it is free of liens, disputes and registrar holds.
Prices we can explain
Quotes are built from recorded sales of comparable names and from what the name will do for the buyer. We show the comparables rather than asking you to take a number on trust.
